Oak Tree Inn Rebrand

Last month I was commissioned by one of my regular clients, Provenance Inns, to take a series of food and interior photographs at The Oak Tree Inn in Helperby, as part of a rebranding exercise. The Yorkshire Steak House & Grill is the newest brand in the Provenance collection, with the menu featuring locally reared beef cooked in the Oak Tree’s new wood-fired oven, Bertha.

Mother Shipton’s Cave Rebrand

Coming from a marketing background, I love it when a new client gives me a project which I can really get my teeth into. Despite being England’s oldest visitor attraction, Mother Shipton’s Cave & Petrifying Well in Knaresborough had a very limited library of professional photography to use in their marketing, until recently that is …

I was approached by Mother Shipton’s at the start of 2014. They were keen to refresh the attraction’s marketing image and had commissioned a local agency to redesign their website. However, they lacked professional photography, a key ingredient in most web design projects. After an initial discussion about their marketing requirements and vision, I worked closely with them over the next nine months to build up a library of marketing, product and event photographs which could be used in all forms of marketing communication.

Architectural Photography

Over the past year I have used photography to document the progress of the £6 million redevelopment of Bowcliffe Hall in Bramham on behalf of Conlon Construction and Jonathan Turner of the Bayford Group.

Through a combination of architectural photography and documentary style shots of the Conlon Construction team at work, I have captured the transition from building site to contemporary event venue.

I am also delighted that Future Constructor & Architect magazine chose to feature my night time shot of the new Blackburn Wing on the front cover of their December 2014 issue.

There is a three page article with more of my photographs on pages 28-31.
